BAKING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F

2. No eggs needed—instead, prepare the box mix with one can of Sprite
(hopefully you didn’t already drink it!)

3. Pour into pan liner

4. Bake for 20–30 minutes (without the plastic lid)

5. Let cool, frost, light the candles

6. Enjoy!

Birthday kits were prepared with AmeriCorps funding thanks to the 2026 MLK Jr. National Day of Service Grant from the Washington Campus Coalition for the Public Good. They were distributed to individuals through local partners, including The Loft, The SPARC, the YWCA, Akin, and the Christian Aid Center.
